We are kicking off our POP UP weekend with a workshop where you get to create your very own Sashiko picture.

Sashiko is originally a Japanese patchwork technique developed to extend the lifespan and provide insulation for clothing. Today, it is a meditative embroidery technique and a beautiful, graphic decoration for clothing and home textiles.

This workshop is a joint venture between Heidi Fisker, who creates images with her laser cutter, cut from reclaimed wood, and Sille Aaes, who hand-embroiders cushions, blankets, and curtains with upcycled thread and yarn. The result is beautiful, embroidered Sashiko pictures on fine wooden boards.

What should I bring?
Materials are included. You only need to bring your desire to learn how to create a Sashiko embroidery on a wooden board.

Cancellations must be made 14 days before the scheduled course start. After this, the registration is binding, and the course fee is non-refundable.

In case of a refund of the course fee, we will deduct an administration fee of 125 DKK.
